2005 Colorado Community Sailing for Special Needs Children
Angliss Boats was proud to provide rides in our very first Angliss Boat, in the Community Sailing Day. On Wednesday September 21, 2005 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Community Sailing, The Boy Scouts and public schools partnered to get 150 Special Needs Kids sailing at Standley Lake. These kids range in age from 10-17.
Angliss Boats and team members Mark Angliss, Mark
Counts, Kem King, Becky Haugen, and Rick Allen helped with logistics of
giving kids rides in both the Angliss WoodPussy and the other sailboats.
The sailing was a big hit with all of the participants!
Volunteers prepare the kids for sailing.
